Sebastian Trimborn
Cologne to Africa
Together with Sebastian Trimborn, we documented the ambitious challenge of traveling from Cologne to Africa within 96 hours. Covering 2,450 kilometers over 117 hours and 38 minutes, with more than 25,234 meters of elevation gain, the journey became a true test of resilience and endurance.
From freezing nights at -2°C to intense daytime heat reaching 30°C, we pushed through minimal sleep, constant physical effort, and the mental strain of staying in motion almost without pause. Crossing through Brussels, France, and the entirety of Spain, we finally reached Tarifa, the southernmost point of mainland Europe, completing the expedition at the gateway to Africa.
